LANPAG
The Local Authority National Partnership Advisory Group (LANPAG) supports the implementation of workplace partnership in the local government sector in Ireland.
The overall goal of workplace partnership is to replace the confrontational approach to change with an open and co-operative process where there is consultation and participation. The aim is to create positive outcomes for all those involved: management, employees, unions and the public who use local authority services.
The purpose of this website is to provide information for local authority staff members and the general public about the ongoing development of workplace partnership in each local authority.
The About Us page presents a brief induction on the role of LANPAG in local authority workplace partnership.
The Documents page of the website provides a resource of the most important partnership and LANPAG reports, reviews and publications. Hard copies of most of these documents are also available on request from LANPAG.
Details of national and locally based partnership projects, supported by LANPAG, are outlined in the Partnership Projects page. Partnership projects are run in each of the 34 local authorities in Ireland, and some of the most innovative and valuable projects will be introduced here.
The Diary page lists the principle partnership meetings and events scheduled for the coming year.
